Six Nineteen of 1865 was recently featured on WYFF News 4’s Project CommUNITY, a Black History Month series that celebrates local trailblazers, community history, and impactful initiatives across the Upstate. In 2026, the program introduced a recurring “Black History Fact of the Day” segment, airing every Tuesday and Thursday on WYFF News 4 Today.
The series highlights community leaders, artists, and organizations making a difference—including efforts to restore a historic medical shelter.
